OUR APPROACH

Our primary objective is to find freedom-based solutions to stop cycles of poverty and increase generational prosperity. To achieve this purpose, HPI is directing our research and our resources toward some of the biggest factors contributing to the fiscal and physical well-being of Americans today: education, healthcare, and economic policies.

Our research is centered on real people and their real communities. HPI was purposely founded in the heartland. We believe that real solutions for today’s most pressing issues are rarely found on K Street. Instead, they are often found on main streets, around kitchen tables, and in small shops and factory floors across America.

Our quest for solutions is aimed at providing long-term benefits to society through economic freedom. Many policy institutions are focused on short-term debates and the news headlines of the day. HPI is focused on research to promote and preserve the ideals of freedom and liberty for generations within our society.

Our strategy is to leverage talent and technology to be efficient and effective at researching and promoting economic freedom. At HPI, we believe big ideas don’t require big institutions. A small, passionate team with the right tools can do what many large institutions are now too cumbersome to achieve: real innovation. Using advanced technology, like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other data-analysis platforms, as a resource for knowledge growth and genuine problem solving, HPI will empower people, rather than systems that maintain the status quo.
